Why should the grown-ups have all the fun? Bring the kids to the finish area on race day for the second annual SC Network Kids' Jester Dash presented by Pastimes, a FREE children's fun run around Mission Point Park for ages 7 & under. Before the run, they can decorate and colour their bib numbers, and warm up to music, in the Kids' Activity Tent hosted by Sunshine Coast Nannies!

Limited to the first 40 kids to sign up. In 2012 the event filled up before race day, so don't wait until the last minute! Below is a video from this year's event, by Duane Burnett:

• Run start time: 12:00 noon Sunday April 7th, 2013 NEW start time!

• Activity Tent open from 11:00am to 12:30pm
• Location: Mission Point Park, Davis Bay
• Each entrant receives: age-appropriate toy from Pastimes, bib number to colour and personalize, BMO Bear coin bank, use of craft supplies from Sunshine Coast Nannies, a stuffed toy, and a snack!
• Distance: approximately 400m

• Course: A loop of the park plus the finish line. Starting near the half-marathon finish approach, on the path just inside the park entrance, kids will be following the groomed path around the perimeter of the park in a clockwise direction, coming back nearly to the start, then entering the main finish chute and crossing the official finish line! • Parents are welcome to accompany their little ones!

Entry is free, but you still need to sign up! First 40 entries accepted.
